Descriptif du poste

The Project Development team is responsible for identifying, designing, developing, and presenting for final investment decision, projects eligible for voluntary carbon offset mechanisms which aim to:

  • Avoid/reduce carbon emissions (preservation of natural ecosystems – REDD+, clean cooking, etc.) and;

  • Create natural carbon sinks (afforestation/reforestation, agroforestry, mangroves, other ecosystems, etc.).

Within this division, you will support the team in the different stages of project investment and in market analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • First screening/review of new project opportunities included in Removall’s projects pipeline (calls with partners, risk analysis, investment thesis, etc.).

  • Supporting project developers in the collection and analysis of information related to the design, feasibility and due diligence process of projects (e.g. bibliographic references, database, cartographic information, carbon potential, business plan, impact socio-economic and biodiversity, etc.).

  • Contribute to the risk analysis of carbon projects in development

  • Participate in the development of documents (presentations, memos, etc.) for investment committees


Profil recherché

  • Gap-year internship or end-of-study internship.

  • Passionate about climate issues, you are results-oriented with the ability to solve complex challenges and adapt to a changing context.

  • Open and curious, you adapt easily to your interlocutors and partners in an international environment. Rigorous and organized, you feel comfortable working in an international and multicultural team and have very good interpersonal skills. You have a proactive and outgoing personality, and are confident representing the company externally. You are able to clearly explain our activities and mission, engage with potential partners and stakeholders, and leave a positive and professional impression.

  • Bac +5 training (business school, engineer or equivalent), a first experience in developing countries and in project management and financing or in the field of sustainable development consulting is appreciated.

  • Some knowledge of carbon markets (regulatory and voluntary).

  • Fluency in French and English essential, a second language is a plus.

  • Open to travels (up to 2 weeks) in an emerging country.

  • Internship compensation: open to discussion: Min. 1000 EUR bruts/month, 50% NAVIGO + Tickets restaurant
