About

Yubo is a Social Discovery platform allowing the Z generation to create communities of friends around the world. Designed for young people between 13 and 25, Yubo lets users create live video discussion spaces where both streamers and viewers interact through a live chat.
At the same time, the platform relies on numerous tools for user safety, moderation and privacy, to make sure our platform is safe for everyone.
Created by three engineer friends with a passion for consumer apps, Yubo has already attracted over 25 million young people worldwide, with tens of thousands of new members joining the community every day.

Job description

Yubo is a platform that gives youth a place to express themselves. Our mission is to socially inspire and enable a new generation to find out about the world and themselves.

Position Overview

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building strong and cohesive brands for highly engaged consumers in an international context. You will be the go-to person to keep the brand identity consistent across various departments internally and externally. The role will report to the Head of Brand Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative marketing plans for specific regions (US/UK/AU/FR) to awareness among our key markets and increase overall conversion and assist the Head of Brand Marketing in building strategies for our global activations
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver on an annual activation calendar
• Ensure an optimal project coordination and brand awareness by working with internal experts and external stakeholders
• Manage external partners such as ad agencies
• Report on campaign performance
• Monitor competitive activity, emerging market needs and evolution of our target audience’s behavior to adapt our strategy according to our consumers’ needs

Preferred experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
• Native English speaker
• 1-3 years of work experience in a brand manager position for consumer-oriented companies
• Experience with conducting market research or comfortable digging into data to measure performance of campaign and adapt regional strategy based on consumer insights
• Experience in building social media strategy and defining KPIs to increase engagement
• Notions in French are a plus
