Le poste

Descriptif du poste

The Payment Group at Swan leverages industry knowledge, payments expertise, and general acumen to build and operate the banking products & platform that power money movements for all Swan financial products.

Ultimately, the group is working toward a future in which all of the complexity that comes with handling money (e.g., adopting new payment methods, booking and reconciling entries—technical vs. accounting vs. cash, integrating with banks and financial partners globally, addressing regulatory obligations, etc.) is hidden from Swan’s partners and end customers.

As a critical member of Swan’s Payment Operations team, whose role is to operate Swan’s payment infrastructure and address the related obligations of a regulated financial institution, our second Senior Payment Operations Business Analyst reports to Swan’s Payment Operations Lead and works on the below key areas:

Organize, Scale, & Optimize Payment Operations processes and tools

  • Optimize existing processes and design robust new ones to mitigate risks, including internal fraud, while ensuring scalability.

  • Gather feedback from Payment Operations Analysts, benchmark against best-in-class Fintechs, and select, implement, and continually enhance Payment Operations tools and solutions.

  • Establish ambitious Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and quality of Swan’s Payment Operations processes and teams.

  • Structure and effectively manage Swan’s Payment Operations key providers on operational aspects.

Lead Payment Operations regulatory & automation projects

  • Develop and maintain product specifications for all regulatory reporting across the countries Swan operates in. Coordinate development, testing, and release with a dedicated Analytics Engineer, and provide assistance to Payment Operations Analysts post-implementation.

  • Lead key automation and scaling projects to optimize Swan’s Cost of Goods (CoGs) and streamline the workload for Payment Operations Analysts.

  • Act as a Product Manager, managing backlog, setting product roadmap, writing specifications, and coordinating development, testing, releases, and training with a team of two full-time developers and Payment Product squads.

  • Engage in impactful communications with internal stakeholders.

Profil recherché

You’re a great match if:

  • 3+ years of experience in operational optimization, automation, project management, or product roles.

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to become a subject matter expert in complex products.

  • Strong interest for processes, product quality, and a knack for intuitive UX.

  • Track record of driving operational improvements, particularly in tooling or in-house product features.

  • Knowledge/operational background of the payments/banking/Fintech industry is a plus!

  • Fluent in French & English

  • Our ideal teammate: Empathetic. Skilled. Frank. We love to challenge each other, and we leave our egos at the door.

It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes — don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying! 🙌

Our values:

Swan’s core values guide our actions daily. Individually, they may seem obvious, but together, they form a unique culture.

Simplicity: Leonardo Da Vinci said: “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” If something’s convoluted or confusing, we work extra hard to break it down. - Making complex things simple is what we do.

Long Term: We always play the long game, whether it’s to support our partners in their growth journey, or make tangible commitments to climate action.

Excellence: We are a team of experts who consistently go all out to create pixel-perfect banking services and exceed our partners’ expectations— whatever it takes.

Be Human: We believe in the power of kindness and the importance of acting with integrity. But embracing our humanity extends beyond interpersonal interactions, it means caring about greater issues that affect our planet.
