Le poste

Descriptif du poste

You will be responsible for the systems that ingest, integrate, and expose the data that fuels our core products. This includes managing how we bring in raw inputs (like video and match sheets), maintain structured metadata (such as players, teams, and matches), and design the APIs used both to integrate with external providers and to serve data to our clients. You’ll oversee the end-to-end workflows that ensure our data is accurate, complete, and reliable throughout its lifecycle.

Your work will have a direct and visible impact — from data creation to client delivery — and will help ensure the scalability, reliability, and quality of our platform as we grow.

While your first focus will be on football, you will contribute to the development of systems for other sports (American Football and Basketball).

You’ll:

  1. Own the roadmap and execution for structured metadata ingestion and raw input integration (e.g., video, match sheets).

  2. Manage the APIs we expose to clients to ensure they are reliable, well-documented, and aligned with product needs

  3. Participate to technical scoping and collaborate with engineering on ingest and sync systems.

  4. Build and maintain processes for data lifecycle management — creation, updates, deduplication, sunset.

  5. Work closely with backend engineers and operations to align tools and priorities.

  6. Ensure that metadata structures are designed with downstream users and analytics in mind.

We welcome full-remote candidates, provided you’re available to join us in our Paris office for a few days once a month.

🚀 Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a fast-growing company with room to grow your role and career.

  • This is a high-impact, behind-the-scenes role. If you enjoy turning messy systems into well-oiled machines, working closely with engineers, and building the foundations others depend on — you’ll thrive here.

  • Join a friendly, collaborative environment full of people who are passionate about sports and technology.

Profil recherché

SkillCorner is looking for a backend-leaning Product Manager to take ownership of our data foundation — from structured metadata like players and matches, to raw inputs like video and match sheets — which power everything we deliver to clients.

  • 2–5 years of experience in product management or technical program management.

  • Experience working closely with backend engineers and data teams.

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and data integrations (hands-on with Postman and Python preferred).

  • Experience managing structured data and metadata systems.

  • Comfort writing specs for backend systems and discussing tradeoffs with engineers.

  • A clear, structured approach to documentation, QA, and continuous improvement.

  • English fluency; French is a plus.

  • (Bonus) Experience in sports tech or working with media data providers.
