International Inside Sales - The Role

Scaleway strengthens its Inside Sales department with a talented “International Inside Sales” to join the Sales team under the VP of Sales. The mission is to maximize business performance by being the main trusted partner of prospects and clients – through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence the International Inside Sales is a key driver in identifying client infrastructure needs and driving critical projects and strategic initiatives to support revenue growth.

This role has a global reach in a dynamic, fast-paced team. This person will be responsible for business growth alongside the sales team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Scaleway and the potential that our technologies have to transform organizations with the right combination of compute power and storage that is flexible, cost effective, reliable, secure and sustainably powered.

They will have a proven track record of growing Iaas/PaaS solutions across EMEA through implementing a sales-oriented strategy for enterprise businesses, cloud natives and public institutions.
We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, thinker who can drive results through operational excellence and is able to move fast while keeping focused on go-to-market execution.

This is a hands-on role which requires excellent business skills to build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns, and build partnerships. The International Inside Sales will benefit from a set of tools to carry out their mission: a documentary database, a ticket system, email (inter-service communication), JIRA, a benchmark of the various offers available on the market, and public speaking support, this person will partner with cross-functional teams (including operations, marketing, communication, finance and product engineering), with the primary objective of enabling Scaleway products to scale across the region and attract and retain the most valuable and active client user base.

Missions

  • Project management: Support sales leadership on short-term and long-term projects including launching new sales programs, resourcing and organizational design
  • Lead of inbound demands and retention
  • Deliver strategic recommendations to prospects and businesses to enable their growth through recommendations within the Scaleway ecosystem
  • Identify key challenges clients are facing and help them to grow with Scaleway
  • Define and own account plans to unlock investments and drive client’s key performance metrics
  • Exceed sales goals for yourself and your team

About you

  • You have excellent people skills
  • You are a good listener and know how to identify needs
  • You demonstrate pedagogical skills and verve for sales
  • You have strong analytical skills, you know how to quickly identify the needs of your interlocutor
  • Teamwork is one of your strong points
  • An appetite for technology and a desire to learn more about the topic
  • Sales experience in the IT sector would be a plus
  • You are a native English speaker, and are fluent in a second language.
