To accompany our exponential growth, Malt is hiring an Account Executive to manage our small to mid-market clients.

Your role will include onboarding, reactivating, and guiding our top customers in order to guarantee our value proposition and generate new business.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Manage & develop a portfolio of active clients within SMB accounts
  • Onboard inbounds accounts with a quick and precise process
  • Identify the next big SMB accounts by assessing the potential of your accounts and create the right conditions for development (qualification meetings, mapping, first projects validated) 
  • Ensure the conversion of leads into missions and work in collaboration with the Community team on client briefs and follow-ups 
  • Support clients in their search to help them connect to our best freelance profiles 
  • Deploy the Malt reflex: AEs position themselves as a "trusted advisor" and establish a long-term relationship with their clients
  • Collect and interpret customer feedback to propose improvements to our CRM and our product in collaboration with the Product team
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • 0-3 years of previous sales experience, ideally in SaaS platform/marketplace or ESN
  • You have excellent listening skills
  • You have a strong appetite for business development
  • Your curiosity and your ability to establish and formalize the short, medium and long term needs of your customers will be a real plus 
  • Desire to integrate a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, caring and demanding work environment 
  • Knowledge of the tech industry (languages and frameworks) is a real asset but not required 
  • French speaker with a professional level of English and are comfortable in an international environment

  • A first interview with Matteo, our SMB Sales Team Lead, to discuss your background in more detail, answer situational questions and better understand our expectations
  • A business case in front of 2 member of the SMB team to present to a panel to test your sales skills
  • Final interview with a C-Level to give you an overview of Malt's strategy and long-term vision
