🚀 About the Team

At Wakam, our HRBPs aren't just policy enforcers – you'll have a genuine 360° view of your perimeter, tackling everything from talent management and compensation to organizational design and strategic workforce planning. You'll join a highly skilled People team of 9 professionals (including a VP People, 2 People Operations Specialists, a Labour & Employee Relations Manager, a Recruiter, an L&D Partner, a Head of People Operations & Experience, a Head of People UK and a Lead People Partner), where collaboration and expertise sharing are part of daily life.

Reporting to our Lead People Partner, you'll own a specific business scope within our 240-employee organization operating partly in full-remote, primarily supporting our France-based teams. 🎯 Your Mission

🌟Strategic HR Partnership & Manager Support

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives (staffing needs, organisational design, etc)
  • Conduct regular check-ins with managers to proactively address workforce issues and act as a trusted advisor to management on complex people management matters (facilitating internal mobility, delivering constructive feedback, supporting conflict resolution,…)
  • Analyse HR KPIs and translate them into concrete actions (turnover/attrition, exit interview statistics, annual employee survey results, etc)
  • Support organizational transformation initiatives, particularly around AI implementation and its impact on roles and skills
  • Support managers in implementing HR policies and best practices

🌟Talent Management & Development

  • Coach managers on leadership skills, team management, and employee development
  • Oversee the annual performance review process, accompany managers for career development conversations and internal mobility
  • Support the deployment & adoption of career management tools & framework (career ladder, succession planning, etc)
  • Contribute to creating, designing, and delivering comprehensive management training programs
  • Support the L&D Partner in the collection, analysis and prioritisation of training requests

🌟Compensation & Benefits Management

  • Drive the annual compensation review exercise in your perimeter
  • Guide managers through compensation decision-making processes
  • Conduct salary benchmarking for every recruitment in your span

🌟Employee Relations & Legal Compliance

  • Support managers in addressing performance and conduct issues, with the support of the Lead People Partner & the Employee & Labour Relations Manager
  • Provide guidance to leadership on French employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate workplace complaints and conflicts

🌟People Team Collaboration

  • Keep the People team informed about business changes and ensure coordinated communication (ex: during reorganizations or strategic initiatives)
  • Partner with the team to review and build HR policies, acting as their relay to the business for practical implementation
  • Collaborate on identifying AI automation opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve team efficiency
  • Share business insights and manager feedback to support people strategy development and team decision-making

🧠 What You Bring

  • 5+ years as an HRBP in an organization characterized by continuous transformation and operational agility
  • Hands-on experience with French employment law and labor regulations
  • Real experience managing compensation reviews and salary structures
  • Experience in dealing with talent management initiatives (leadership training, succession planning,…)
  • Experience supporting tech organisations
