We are looking for a motivated data engineer to work on the R&D team. This person should be quite polyvalent and have knowledge ranging from a good grasp of computer science fundamentals (I/O, networking, processes/threads management, etc.), to managing distributed tools and backend development (for REST APIs and database management).

The role will be a mix of backend engineering, infrastructure and data-ing. Lots of initiative is needed. We can define the post more precisely according to your profile; be able to tackle at least two of the following problematics would be great.

• You like to work with production environnements ? We have a wonderful lambda-architecture for you ! Based on Kafka, HDFS and spark, coded in java, which can treat 100k events per sec and we always need to do some POC to improve it !

• You prefer a job more “data science oriented” ? we have a bunch of statistics problematics waiting for you as well as a data visualisation tool, a brand new project full of possibility !

• You love debates & architecture consideration ? Our back-end architecture is being migrated to a micro-services architecture and we have still many choice to make, many tools to tests.

• You are used to put Machine Learning algorithm into production ? Welcome to the ML squad ! even if the job will emphasize the role of data engineer, you will also have the opportunity to participate in Use Case specification and algorithms development.
