ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst/Underwriter/Actuary with strong technical skills. Motor insurance experience is mandatory. This is a significant role that requires you to build new product offers and engaging with insurers and reinsurers to build capacity. You will work alongside our Director of Actuary, to support Indeez growth.

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BUSINESS

You will leverage your expertise in assessing risk exposure to develop Indeez’s product offer. You are a natural at decoding complex client needs and turning them into delightful products. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the development of new Indeez product offering on new mobility and bankinsurance verticals, from an underwriting and pricing perspective

• Help to the negotiation on Underwriting and Terms & Conditions with external stakeholders (insurers, MGU, brokers, re-insurers)

• Keeping up to date with business and competitive trends: ability to understand the best-in-class practices and products in other markets is key

• Leverage live feed of data and tech to enhance product and pricing models

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

We are keen to discover new ways of innovating through your underwriting and pricing experience and to see your ability to compile, analyse and transform data into business actions. More specifically:

• You are positive in your outlook and a strong team player

• You are solutions oriented - Thinking out of the box and proactively seeking for new approaches to improve portfolio’s performance.

• 5-7 years of property & casualty experience (mainly motor insurance) in underwriting/pricing within the insurance industry (insurers, re-insurers, MGU, brokers, consulting and insurtech). Past successful experience of working with a fintech/insurtech is a BIG plus!

• You have leadership skills to participate in underwriting negotiations and drive contract reviews, be it with clients or internal teams.

• You have a master’s degree in a relevant scientific subject (actuarial sciences, statistics or other).

• You are fluent in English
