Credit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility - JUR

You will join the corporate legal team composed of 5 in-house lawyers based in France (Massy - 91). This position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Legal.

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with proven expertise in securitization and assignment of receivables, capable of handling a wide range of legal activities as described below.

Your main missions will include:

• Supporting CAPFM’s financial activities (securitisation, assignment of receivables, deposit collection, etc.);
• Supporting CAPFM’s international and French strategic corporate projects (partnerships, joint ventures, external growth, divestment, etc.);
• Handling CAPFM’s contract-related projects (procurement, security and IT services);
• Monitoring key legal risks and litigation within CAPFM; 
• Contributing to the work of the legal business line within CAPFM by collaborating with legal teams across our different entities on strategic projects and harmonizing practices (providing standard contractual clauses, promoting best practices, disseminating and monitoring applicable procedures within CAPFM Group and Crédit Agricole);
• Centralizing legal risk and expenses reportings of CAPFM Group, both for Crédit Agricole SA’s Legal Affairs Department and CAPFM’s General Management.

This role is key in effectively supporting CAPFM’s business activities and entities in France and abroad, mainly in the automotive/mobility and consumer credit sectors.       

As an expert leader, you will bring strong legal proficiency, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to share knowledge and support peers while managing complex matters with a high degree of autonomy and reliability.

• Expérience : A significant similar experience is required, in particular if abroad. A strong knowledge of securitization / assignment of receivables and corporate transactions and contract law is essential. Experience in the automotive/mobility sector would be a significant advantage. Knowledge of competition law would also be beneficial.

• Skills:
o Soft Skills: You enjoy working in diverse legal fields, are an excellent communicator/negotiator able to interact efficiently with local and international stakeholders in a cross-functional environment. You are reliable, autonomous, organized, flexible / adaptable, with excellent capacity for analysis and synthesis, verbal and written communication. Being able to embrace new topics is key to succeed in this role. Team spirit is essential.
o Technical skills: financial transactions (securitisation, assignment of receivables), contract law, litigation and pre-litigation management. IT contracts / provision of services and/or M&A and Partnerships are a plus.
o Languages: Operational English and French (regular use)

IT Tools: Pack office, an appetite for IT/innovation tool developments would be a plus.
