Who are they?

Lorsque Will Shu, le CEO et fondateur de Deliveroo, a déménagé à Londres en 2013, il a découvert une ville foisonnant de très bons restaurants. Mais à sa grande surprise, peu d’entre eux proposaient de livrer leurs plats. Dès lors, il s’est donné pour mission de faire venir la cuisine des meilleures pépites de quartier directement chez les gens.

En offrant aux restaurateurs un canal de vente supplémentaire, et l’opportunité de faire progresser leur chiffre d’affaires, Deliveroo joue un rôle économique majeur au sein de l’écosystème de la restauration en France.

Aujourd’hui, Deliveroo collabore avec 160 000 restaurants et 180 000 livreurs sur 11 marchés géographiques, afin de proposer la meilleure expérience de livraison de repas et de courses d’épicerie au monde.

Deliveroo est présent sur 11 marchés : Australie, Belgique, Emirats arabes unis, Espagne, France, Hong Kong, Irlande, Italie, Koweït, Pays-Bas, Royaume-Uni, Singapour.

Présent en France, son deuxième marché mondial, depuis 2015, Deliveroo travaille aujourd’hui avec plus de 26 000 restaurants et commerces partenaires, et offre une opportunité d’activité flexible et bien rémunérée à 22 000 livreurs partenaires qui nous font confiance. Senior People Associate

Purpose of Job:

The primary function of the role is to support all in-country People related issues, including onboarding, reporting and employee lifecycle activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new employees, coordinate visa processes with external PRO and conduct first day orientation
  • Manage Medical Insurance policy enrolments and cancellations
  • Act as the first point of contact and support for HR-related matters for Employees in Qatar, escalating where appropriate.
  • Provide support to the wider People team on employee lifecycle issues such as grievances, terminations, performance management and compensation reviews.
  • Support and arrange in-country People initiatives, including team events and activities
  • Work with central People team to ensure capture of payment
  • Liaise with PRO, Legal and Office Managers with regards to visa renewals, labour cards, medicals, licence renewals etc
  • Work with the People and Legal team on changing local laws, ensuring the business is aware of changes in regulations in a timely manner
  • Track employees’ documents and ensure all administration is kept up to date and compliant.
  • Any other tasks as directed by Line Manager

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in an administrative HR role
  • Fluency in English essential, with Arabic a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience using Workday preferred
  • Excellent communicator, experienced in stakeholder and relationship management
  • Proficient user of G-Suite or MS Office package
  • Demonstrated success in meeting exceptionally high standards in a high volume, fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Arabic speaker is a plus
