We are looking for an Intern to join the Strategy & Business Analyst - CEE & LATAM team at BlaBlaCar. The team’s mission is to directly and indirectly contribute to reaching the company goal to become the go-to marketplace for shared road mobility. Our role is to help the company facilitate growth, optimize efficiency and reach our business targets. As an intern, your role will be to mainly focus on prospective markets such as Mexico, India and CEE while also contributing to developing our Data analytics stack for the Pro Marketplace business unit. You will be reporting to the Analyst’s Lead and working with various teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct various studies to size the market and look for new trends in our industry, understand competition and our customers to build a basis for our strategies and tactics;
  • Carry out data and business analyses to identify growth levers and to support data driven decision-making across different teams. Share your analyses and recommendations to a wide multidisciplinary audience;
  • Identify the key levers impacting our business performance and recommend actions to improve our strategy and operations;
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of Pro marketplace business unit analytical infrastructure (Tableau dashboards, GCP tables, Metrics documentation) in partnership with cross-functional teams; 
  • Other ad hoc Business and financial analysis.

    • Your qualifications

  • You are currently seeking a 6-month internship (end of study internship strongly preferred); 
  • 1 to 2 previous internship experiences in consulting, finance, business intelligence or other relevant analytical position is a strong plus;
  • Good knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation programs (ex. Google Slides);
  • You identify with the BlaBlaCar mindset: a structured and humble doer with the ability to prioritize, who thrives on collaboration and teamwork;
  • Strong English and preferably have experience working in an international environment;

    • Nice to have:

  • Knowledge in data visualization tools (Tableau) and SQL
  • Knowledge of Spanish and/or Hindi
