Descriptif du poste

As Global Head Medical, Scientific Communication & Patient Affairs, you will supervise a team of experienced professionals in the development, deployment and evolution of the medical-scientific communication strategy and interactions with patient associations, in order to promote the Group's expertise in France and internationally. You will report directly to the VP-Chief Scientific Officer, within the Scientific Affairs area, which also includes R&D.

Missions:

  • Defining the medical influence strategy in order to promote our leadership and expertise in the Microbiota, General Medicine and Women's Health fields to healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, etc., while collaborating with internal (Customer Experience, GPRA, R&D, etc.) and associated external teams;
  • Proposing and managing a collaboration strategy with our international experts and learned societies in fields of interest;
  • Developing a Patient Policy for Biocodex;
  • Validating and supervising the deployment of the medical-scientific communication plan (Medical Affairs and Institut du Microbiote) and the Patient plan;
  • Leading scientific advisory committees and other meetings with healthcare professionals;
  • Representing the Group at major national and international medical events (congresses, symposia, stand-alones, webinars, etc.);
  • Overseing the implementation of communication projects, programs and tools (campaigns, publications, press releases, events, public relations activities), around the key issues of our therapeutic areas;
  • Setting up and monitoring performance indicators to assess the smooth running of activities within your scope, and ensuring proper reporting to your management;
  • Drawing up, monitoring and arbitrating the budget for your area, in compliance with Group guidelines;
  • Managing experienced, multi-disciplinary teams of experts and pursuing their development through the 70/20/10 model and ensure role modeling of the Group's Values.


Profil recherché

Profile:

Scientific degree (Physician or Pharmacist) with previous successful experience (min. 15 years) in medical affairs and/or medical-scientific communication

Knowledge of some or all of our areas of expertise (microbiota, women's health, general medicine, products with drug regulatory status, food supplements, medical devices) is expected

Experience and appetite for interaction with patient groups is desirable

You have a proven track record in managing large teams, and you enjoy the diversity of the managerial role

You are recognized for your scientific rigor, leadership and ability to bring people together, as well as for your excellent interpersonal skills

Fluency in English is a prerequisite for this position

Type of contract : Full time

Location: Gentilly (France-91)

Telecommuting: 2 days a week

Occasional travel in France and abroad is to be expected
