Your missions : Put machine learning at the core of AssessFirst, crafting cutting-edge algorithms that predict and optimize job success, team performance, and beyond. You'll play a critical role in shaping innovative AI-powered solutions that redefine how we understand and unlock human potential.
👉 To do this, you will have to:
- Create impact: Develop and refine predictive algorithms that power groundbreaking features in AssessFirst, from job compatibility to team dynamics and performance optimization.
- Explore and innovate: Collaborate with behavioral scientists to identify the most meaningful data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Build smarter systems: Design and implement efficient ML pipelines to handle complex data and drive better predictions.
- Push the boundaries of ML: Experiment with state-of-the-art techniques to develop models that go beyond the status quo.
- Analyze and iterate: Evaluate the performance and limitations of your models, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptability.
- Contribute to the science: Work with the Science and Product teams to bring ML-driven features to life in ways that directly impact our users.
Projects examples :
Work on a cutting-edge solution designed to assess language proficiency and technical skills through personalized, voice-based evaluations.
Develop advanced algorithms that analyze recorded responses, extract meaningful insights, and deliver precise predictions of performance and potential.
Your future team
You’ll be part of the Science team, led by Emeric (Head of Science), and work alongside Konrad (Psychometrician and AI Engineer), Jianqiu (Data Engineer) and Simon (Chief Product Officer).
This cross-disciplinary team thrives on collaboration, where behavioral science meets machine learning to deliver innovative solutions. You'll also engage closely with the back-end team and product team to turn insights into reality.

What we would need...
- Fluent in both English & French 🇬🇧🇫🇷 (requirement)
- Strong foundations in ML modeling and a passion for solving complex problems.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries like NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
- Familiarity with Bayesian statistics and a strong grasp of mathematical principles.
- A desire to learn, experiment, and stay on top of advancements in machine learning research.
- The ability to work closely with teams from different disciplines, translating ideas into impactful ML solutions.
