We’re looking for an Office and Events Assistant for an apprenticeship/alternance contract, who has a curious, organised and creative mindset.

You will be part of Akur8's Operations team, working closely with our Office & Events Manager. You will take part in the optimization of our offices (in Paris and abroad) as well as the well-being of the company’s employees.

Your list of responsibilities in this role includes (but is not limited to):

Office life:

  • You ensure that our Paris office is welcoming, organized and full of good vibes! You initiate any improvements going in this direction;
  • You resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues;
  • You oversee supplies orders and inventories for our offices in New-York, Paris, London, Milan, Koln and Tokyo (stationery, food, drinks, fruit, coffee…);
  • You manage the different office providers/partners, negotiate and control contracts;
  • You handle reception and shipment of packages and mail;
  • You support the Office & Events Manager in all the employee onboarding and offboarding processes;
  • You welcome and support visitors, candidates and deliveries.

Events:

  • You participate in designing and organizing internal and international events to increase the well-being of our employees (parties, lunches, team events, birthdays, sport events…);
  • You are proactive on suggesting new unifying actions and activities that contribute in the company culture;
  • You ensure and contribute to the success of all internal events.

Requirements

We're looking for an Office & Events Assistant who is eager to learn and work on various subjects in a fast moving organization, possessing the following attributes:

  • You are currently completing your studies in BTS (second year) or Licence/Bachelor degree starting in December 2022 / January 2023;
  • You have always shown a passion for care and want to work at the heart of a People function;
  • You are organized, detail oriented and are able to efficiently multitask and project-manage;
  • You are autonomous, proactive, eager to learn and to assume responsibility for key initiatives with a problem-solver mindset;
  • You are a team player and are happy to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders both internal and external;
  • You have good written and oral communication skills in French and English.
