Founded in Paris in 2019 🇫🇷, and now based in the 9th arrondissement (a stone's throw from the Opéra!), our talented and diverse team has always been the cornerstone of Akur8. As we've grown, we've expanded our footprint around the world, establishing offices in the UK 🇬🇧, USA 🇺🇸, Italy 🇮🇹, Germany 🇩🇪 and Japan 🇯🇵.
Comprising experts in Engineering, Product, Design, Cybersecurity, Business, Marketing and more, our passion and expertise unite us.

For anyone who has been around the insurance space for some time, innovation has been rather scarcer than other sectors so far. This is especially true for core processes, notably pricing that has largely remained a ‘dark niche’, mastered by few technical experts, mostly using manual legacy tools. The potential for transformation and for unlocking added value through pricing sophistication is tremendous, and largely untapped.
