As Akur8 expands rapidly, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help manage the growth of its international cloud operations (deployment, maintenance and monitoring of dozens of serverless environments across multiple time-zones).

Reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager, your typical set of missions shall be:

• Building and maintaining a set of tools that enable engineers to self-serve for most operational tasks
• Maintaining our CI pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Contributing in our infrastructure as code repositories (Terraform)
• Participating in infrastructure supervision (setup monitoring & alerts)
• Enforcing of IT security standards & best practices with our Security Team
• Shadowing internal IT Operations (Hardware provisioning, GSuite, Office 365, slack, JIRA...)
• Carrying out on-call duty

• Software: Angular, TypeScript, Python, Java/Spring

Requirements

We look for innovative and rigorous minds that are capable of helping our platform grow. Applicants should meet the following criteria :

• A Masters degree from an engineering school in Computer Science
• At least a first experience as a DevOps
• Sound knowledge of IT security best practices
• A good knowledge with Terraform and AWS or Azure
• Ability to code in Python
• Good English language skills

Important: You must possess an employment status: French or Schengen area nationality or a ‘carte de séjour’ that will allow you to work from our Paris office. We are equally open to the visa sponsorship of non-EU candidates as long as they are already in possession of their final diploma / attestation of their final academic results.
