We are now looking for an ambitious and hands-on Head of Policy & Partnerships to lead our policy work in Europe, develop key partnerships and support our business strategy with cities. Your role will be key in promoting the Vianova data platform to help cities build a more efficient and sustainable transportation system.

We are looking for “tech for good” enthusiasts to help us build the next generation Operating System for smart cities to manage all connected mobility services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead of our policy work across Europe to recognize Vianova as the leading platform to help cities and operators build the future of transportation
  • Work closely with the CEO to build the company strategy: city products & services, operator services, data strategy & policy
  • Audit city officials on their needs and help define the product strategy & roadmap
  • Drive adoption of data-sharing and international data formats by operators and cities, support the compliance to international data protection laws such as GDPR
  • Develop strategic partnerships with third parties, private mobility operators & public transport companies
  • Develop key relationships with city officials and policy experts across Europe (and partly the US) to advocate for policies & business decisions supporting Vianova’s business
  • Attend and speak at industry events to build your network, target the key prospects and arouse cities’ interest regarding our solution
  • Monitor regulation, public debate, challenges our business could face as the public policy landscape in the EU and in each member state evolves
  • Develop and execute proactive public policy strategies to address regulatory or other public policy challenges and topics

Profil recherché

  • Master’s degree or equivalent from a leading university or business school
  • Fluent in English, another European language would be appreciated
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal + written), bringing ability to quickly build trust and respect in our industry with internal and external partners
  • 7+ years experience in public policy roles, with a deep understanding of public policy, city administrations, as well as a strong knowledge of the transport industry
  • Experience in the technology sector is preferred, with a public sector facing role desired
  • Strong network of local government & industry contacts
  • Maker spirit and grit: we are looking for someone passionate, entrepreneurial and go-getter, with a strong work ethic as well as a genuine interest in the company’s mission
  • Ability to travel frequently
