Swan is a fintech start-up offering a Bank-as-a-Service platform. This basically means that any company can create accounts, cards and IBANs for their customers or employees in minutes using Swan’s platform.

Swan was co-founded in 2019 with the French Start-up Studio eFounders, and received €5M in seed funding in June 2020 from some of the top European Venture Capital Funds. Since then, things have accelerated quickly. The team has grown from 10 to 30 people, first clients are pouring in, and European expansion is on the way.

Swan is a financial institution regulated by the Banque de France and a member of the Mastercard network.

Job description

Swan is looking for a brilliant Talent Acquisition Manager to join its team. You are rigorous, pro-active and wish to work with high-level business and technical teams? You want to contribute to building an ambitious French tech company?

Your qualities will have their rightful place in our corporate team and you will be relied upon to build the recruitment organization from the ground up as our very first Talent Acquisition Manager. Your main challenges will be to:

• Identify, attract, and assess top talent in a competitive landscape across Europe

• Build and manage the recruitment process from A to Z ensuring that both hiring managers and candidates get the best possible experience

• Make our employer brand shine online and offline

This includes:

  • Collecting recruitment needs, co-creating scorecards, writing and publishing our job offers
  • Using a multi-sourcing approach to find active and passive candidates (LinkedIn Recruiter, CV techs, job postings, events, networking, etc)
  • Assessing candidates via telephone, video calls, in-person meetings and case studies
  • Deliver regular training and advising to internal managers on recruiting practices and the talent market in general
  • Building our talent pool
  • Represent Swan at events/ meetups/ conferences
  • Be the main ambassador for our culture and values, and ensure that candidates fit our way of working and our culture
  • Building internal processes from scratch : main rule is keeping it as simple and efficient as possible
  • Depending on the workload and the candidates skills, the responsibilities could be extended to more global talent management missions (co-optation policy, ATS implementation, annual reviews…)

Preferred experience

Pre-requisites :

  • At least 3 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in an agency or a fast-growing startup
  • Experience in hiring engineering and product profiles and knowledge of the startup landscape
  • Adaptable and outstanding communication skills in French and English, verbal and written
  • Strong mindset and ability to take ownership of topics
  • Strong team spirit
