We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Deliverability Manager to reinforce our Deliverability Team.

Your mission will be to help our clients learn and apply the industry best practices. This involves empowering them to be more autonomous in areas such as Abuse, Compliance, Deliverability, and Security, while implementing controls to prevent bad practices.

The Deliverability Manager will also be actively involved on high-value ongoing projects. This opportunity is ideal to make the move to a dynamic role that combines technical, product, client-facing expertise and business knowledge in one of the most exciting companies in the industry.

Lastly, the mission includes maintaining internal tools to monitor, investigate in case of incidents, and find the right product answers to business needs. This requires the ability to provide a strategic vision on our scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Abuse: Handle complaints, primarily related to spam, and take appropriate actions to address them. Develop scripts to improve abuse management and prevent issues.

  • Compliance: Monitor and troubleshoot customers’ configurations to ensure messages are sent with proper authentication and comply with industry standards. Stay updated with new industry standards, conduct studies on their impact, and plan and execute their implementation.

  • Deliverability: Monitor, Investigate and resolve email inbox placement issues, manage pools and PMTA server configurations, guide project managers with double runs, prepare and guide teams on ramp-up projects, facilitate delisting processes, and implement best practices to optimize email deliverability.

  • Industry Relationship: Stay actively engaged in the industry by contributing to technical documentation, participating in calls and technical forums, and representing the company at events like M3aawg or Signal-Spam.

  • Security: Implement security measures to safeguard the email infrastructure and company data integrity. React promptly to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations when necessary. Improve our monitoring tools and security. Educate employees by performing phishing simulation tests, and developing training sessions and documentation.

  • Other Common Activities: Focus on product management around deliverability and maintaining observability tools. Improve and maintain internal tools, such a tools for reputation and investigation of problems. Do internal documentation and conduct training sessions.


Profil recherché

  • Senior-level experience with excellent communication and simplification skills on these topics.

  • Strong stakeholder management abilities.

  • Knowledge on development practice.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.

  • Manage IP pools and IP reputation

  • Strong knowledge of email standard methodologies, reputation management, and spam filtering technologies.

  • Knowledge of feedback loops processing.

  • Experience with DNS management and troubleshooting.

  • PMTA configuration experience.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Strong willingness to learn.

  • Has a good level of Technical proficiency. A good knowledge of Unix commands and SQL
