Sorare is a fantasy sports gaming experience and marketplace featuring officially licensed digital player cards. With Sorare you build legacy teams –  buying, selling, collecting and trading player cards -- and compete with them in free-to-play fantasy games to win rewards week over week and season over season, just like a professional sports owner.

Our Journey

Sorare was founded by Nicolas Julia and Adrien Montfort in 2018 in Paris to bring sports fans across the globe closer to the players, teams, and leagues they love.

As the Head of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in building the Sorare brand, defining its message, and growing our user base. You will sit in the executive team reporting to the CEO.

You will bring Sorare’s vision of uniting people through sports and unlocking team ownership for fans to a wider group of sports fans all over the world. You will create positive relationships and engagement strategies with a wide range of audiences, including our community, influencers, ambassadors and partners. You will globally lead and scale the marketing team at Sorare.

Responsibilities

  •  Formulate and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and user acquisition within the dynamic and competitive landscape of mobile gaming

  • Create and implement a highly effective influence and brand ambassador strategy to ship compelling and authentic content aimed at growing and fostering a dedicated community around the brand

  • Provide senior and strategic marketing and brand leadership in a startup environment, exhibiting flexibility and creativity to achieve marketing objectives with constrained resources

  • Develop and execute  innovative social media strategies leveraging robust partnership resources with a primary focus on maximizing app installs and optimizing user engagement

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to app installs, user acquisition, and retention metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous development

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development, creative, and design, to ensure cohesive messaging and an exceptional user experience

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with 4+ years of experience leading teams

  • Proven track record as an effective senior product marketing leader at a mobile first and consumer-facing organization, ideally in the gaming industry  

  • Exceptional leadership skills, showcasing the ability to thrive and lead teams in a startup environment while maintaining a strategic vision

  • Extensive experience developing and implementing high-impact marketing strategies with proven success in user acquisition

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with and lead cross-functional teams

  • Analytical mindset, leveraging data-driven insights to refine and optimize marketing strategies

  • In-depth knowledge of mobile-first gaming is preferred

  • Deep passion for sports is preferred

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
