We are looking for a new Senior Data Scientist to join the team.

As a Senior Data Scientist at Resilience, you will have the opportunity to work on all the data cycle, exploring, enriching, preparing, analyzing, modeling and industrializing new features using data science.

How you will contribute to the success of Resilience Project :

You will have the opportunity to leverage value from Resilience real life health data and to contribute actively to the Resilience mission : reinvent cancer care and improve patients quality of life.

What will be your missions :

• Collaborate with the internal and external Resilience teams (Medical, R&D, Operations, hospitals, external partners, etc.) to understand their needs

• Propose realistic and valuable data science solutions :

  • Gather and analyze the data, identify key prediction/classification problems, design solutions, build prototypes, and stay knowledgeable on published state-of-the-art algorithms
  • Develop, test, implement algorithms in scalable, production-ready code
  • Industrialize and monitor models in production
  • Investigate new academic and industrial modeling techniques to apply to our business cases
• Ensure delivery in time, with good quality and performance, and contribute with the team to set-up or improve best practices, methods, tools, etc. within this goal
• Work closely with other teams, especially the Data Engineering team, to contribute actively to build a high quality health data factory
• Share knowledge to contribute to make the team enhance its expertise
• Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and expertise through the company, and externally

• You will be part of a team of two other Data Scientists and two Machine Learning Engineers.
• You will have the opportunity to collaborate with many different teams across R&D (Product, Data Engineering…) but not only (Operations, Medical…).

You will report to the Head of Data, in charge of the Data Science Team and the Data Engineering Team

⚙️ You are the right person for Resilience if you :

Hard-skills

• Have a good knowledge of traditional statistical learning as well as machine learning techniques, supervised and unsupervised learning [must-have]
• Are fluent in python, and in the standard DS packages (pandas, numpy, scikit, etc) [must-have]
• Have practical knowledge in one of the popular machine learning and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc) [must-have]
• Have strong skills in computing analytics in SQL [must-have]
• Is proficient within DevOps environment : versioning (Git), CI/CD, test coverage, containers, etc. [nice-to-have]
• Is proficient in ML Ops and ML Engineering frameworks : experiment trackers, orchestrators, monitoring, data lineage, etc [nice-to-have]
• Have advanced skills in data-visualization [nice-to-have]
• Fluent in both spoken and written French and English

Experiences

• Have experience in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating and analyzing data [must-have]
• Have experience with traditional statistical learning as well as machine learning techniques, supervised and unsupervised learning, in some various projects [must-have]
• Have experience in several NLP techniques, using different techniques [must-have]
• Have experience with industrialization e.g. putting models in production and monitoring their performance [nice-to-have]
• Have experience in health academic studies [nice-to-have]

Soft-skills [must-have]

• Are pragmatic, analytic, solution-oriented, eager to learn and proactive mindset
• Are a good communicator and able to adapt your speech according to the audience, both written and oral
• Are a strong team player and ease collaboration with business teams
• Have interest for health ecosystem

Experience required : ≥ 5 years as a Data Scientist, Master degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
