In efforts to further strengthen our international presence on a local level, we are looking for our Polish Tech Evangelist. Reporting to the Head of International with a dotted line to the CTO / FR Tech evangelist, the Tech Evangelist will train and support the polish PrestaShop Community.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Be the official technical voice for the polish PrestaShop Community animating the forum, socials and git-hub,
• Own technical training program of partner agencies, developers and merchants,
• Support partner agencies with technical inquiries,
• Record video trainings for the PrestaShop Academy,
• Contribute to the global development pipeline with Polish market specific requirements,
• Perform in class trainings for merchants and for developers across Poland,
• Liaise with the merchant support team in-house and outsourced,
• Engage and support PrestaShop Ambassadors with product related meetups.

Requirements:

• PrestaShop 1.7 knowledge is a Must,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing PrestaShop online stores as part of an agency or as a freelance developer,
• Degree in Computer Science,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Ability to translate complex technical information into concepts understandable by non-technical people,
• Ability to speak in public, to groups, or via electronic media,
• Very curious about the e-commerce, web and open-source universe,
• Have a great capacity for analysis, understanding, and problem solving,
• Able to adapt quickly,
• Very organized, rigorous and autonomous,
• You are perfectly comfortable writing in English (we mean it!) and Polish,
• Understanding French would be a plus,
• Knowledge in LAMP stack and Symfony, Javascript, SQL required.
