The Country Manager is responsible for managing the game’s localization and building a community in target markets, ensuring the content is culturally and linguistically adapted while maintaining consistency with the brand’s vision.
Key functions :
Create, develop, and animate the first English-speaking community of PowerZ in the UK and/or US to gather product insights and drive all necessary improvements before launch to ensure its success.
Manage the complete localization project cycle, from planning to delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Work closely with development, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to establish production and launch schedules.
Optimize localization and quality assurance processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Communicate effectively with intercultural teams and adapt content for different audiences.
Edit and revise translated content to ensure accuracy, grammar, style, and cultural relevance.
Identify and resolve cultural or localization issues that may affect the product’s reception by the target audience.
Train and mentor translators and other localization team members.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, focusing on the ability to collaborate with multicultural teams. Native English speaker with a good understanding of cultural specifics of the UK/US.
High autonomy and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
Proven project management skills.

Experience Required :
Relevant experience in the field of localization, ideally in the video game or software industry.
Expertise in managing the quality of localization services and implementing continuous improvements.
Knowledge of TMS (Translation Management System) and CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools for managing translation workflows.
Additional Assets :
Experience with machine translation tools and their implementation.
Knowledge of the specific games and products of the employing company.

Position may require flexibility in terms of hours and location (remote, on-site, or hybrid work).
