POWELL SOFTWARE IS RECRUITING A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER FOR THE WESTERN EUROPE REGION

In order to support its exponential growth in Europe, Powell Software is recruiting a Key Account Manager for the Western Europe region (BENELUX, Nordics, South Europe)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Key Account Manager who is ready to jump into multiple aspects of a startup. You will join a fast growing and international team. You will own the customer acquisition motion for the region and manage our existing customer portfolio to upsell with additional Powell Software solutions.

You are a strong communicator and storyteller who can develop compelling presentations that illustrate Powell Software’s business value to all levels. You are willing to learn, and you are partner/ channel and customer obsessed.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Structuring a 360° territory plan for the region aligned with the sales target of the region.

You identify new sales targets and map stakeholders.

You effectively initiate sales talks, qualify your leads, negotiate, and close deals with a strong and structured sales discipline.

You build a deep sales pipeline and keep it predictable.

You stay abreast of the market and the upcoming opportunities it brings.

You collaborate with the product, marketing, Inside Sales and technology teams.

You represent the company at conferences and events in the region

You collaborate on each opportunity with channel partners (system integrators, consulting firms & distributors)


Profil recherché

To be successful at this role, you need to have the following skills:

5+ years of experience in core sales experience, partner channel development, business development, account management.

Dutch Native

Consistent track record of navigating within large and mid-market organizations

Proven negotiation and closing skills

Ability to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectively with IT and business leaders.

Ability to handle a pipeline of opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process.

Demonstrate a genuine interest in IT solutions and Powell Software’s solutions.

Be an enthusiastic learner to stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies.

Ability to develop a trusted relationship with technology partners (i.e. Microsoft) and solutions/service partners in a shared success model with global or local system integrators, managed services providers, and distributors.

A self-starter spirit willing to operate both strategically and tactically

Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Challenger mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through

Bachelor’s degree desired (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations)

The Position can be based in Belgium, France, Germany, Amsterdam as long you are Dutch Native
