Plum was launched in June 2019 with the ambition of overhauling the kitchen-design market! Our product range has since expanded and we now offer furniture and design solutions for the entire home (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room etc).

Our goal is to create the first interior design platform. A creative brand that inspires its community, guides them in their renovation and design projects, and selects the materials to make them a reality.
After a first round of fundraising, Plum is showing strong growth (several million annual turnover achieved in 2020) and has international ambitions (opening in Germany & the Netherlands in June): our Customer Care team is expanding and we are looking for a Customer Care Specialist to join us.

Your role

As a German speaking Customer Care Specialist at Plum, you will be close to our German Community of clients and take care of them on a daily basis.

Your goal? Support and guide our clients in their project. You will answer their needs from the moment they look for inspiration to the moment they receive their delivery and set-up their arrangement at home. You will offer them the ‘Plum Experience’: a unique & high-end service they will want to tell the whole world about!

You will work hand in hand with a team of 5 Customer Care Specialists.

Staring date: January 2023.

Your missions

As a true Plum Ambassador, you will manage prospects and clients requests all along their journey. Your objective will be to precisely understand their expectations & reach a high level of satisfaction.

Presales

  • Manage with great responsiveness & personalisation different types of client requests
  • Guide our clients in their project by answering to all their needs / questions about Plum, our concept, our products and inspiration
  • Contribute - at your own level - to driving sales through your mentoring
  • Prioritize your answers depending on channels (email, chat, social networks, telephone, WhatsApp)
  • Pay particular attention to each client, listen to them, understand their needs, and respond in a warm way
  • Share Plum behavior and Brand DNA through your communications

Aftersales

  • Ensure proper follow-up of our customers’ orders until delivery by working hand in hand with the Operations team and our logistics providers
  • Answer pragmatically and fairly to customer complaints
  • Be creative when offering solutions and services to issues our customers could face during the set-up part or first use. You’ll know Ikea inside out!
  • Participate in the creation of Customer Care processes and guidelines
  • Contribute, through your actions and special care, to customer retention

You will be the ‘Voice of client’, sharing German clients’ expectations and suggesting innovative recommendations to make the Plum experience even better !


Profil recherché

You are/have:

  • German native speaker, French fluent.
  • At least one previous experience in Customer Care, ideally for high-end products within the German market
  • A creative and curious personality, who loves interior design, the world of renovation and DIY
  • A great ability to listen, empathy and taking care of customers makes you really happy !
  • “Customer centric”, you are committed to providing a positive and successful customer experience for all types of customers
  • Great interest for social media, and master the art of communication both orally and in writing
  • The desire to take part in an entrepreneurial adventure within a creative and community brand
  • Good knowledge of Hubspot’s hub service is a plus

Déroulement des entretiens

  • A 20 to 30 min phone call
  • A 1st 1 hour physical interview and a case study
  • A 2nd 1 hour physical interview
