As a General Accountant at Pigment, your mission will be to help with the daily bookkeeping of providers and clients as well as supporting the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, to ensure robustness of our financials reporting.
You will join a Finance team of 3 people to help you succeed in your ambitious mission.

✅ Amongst your missions

• Steer our 3 external accountants in FR, UK and in the US, with a project of internalizing accounting within 12-18 months;
• Take charge of accounting processes: You will perform the monthly, quarterly, yearly financial close and reporting processes, as well as the upstream bookkeeping processes of accounts receivable and accounts payable;
• Ensure the revenue recognition process is robust, scalable and aligned with our business model
• Run our professional expense management system;
• Ensure accounting accuracy: Ensure the lettering and make reliable our providers/clients ledger;
• Improve financial processes: You will take an active role in the automation of our accounting and reporting processes of the AP/AR;
• Recording of supplier invoices and expense reports (including the allocation of analytical categories);
• Management of supplier payments to be validated and sent to the treasury department;
• Support with annual consolidation: Help prepare our annual closing for IFRS consolidation; You will contribute to the setup and enhancement of our new accounting consolidation process;
• ERP: Help with the scoping then implementation of our future ERP;
• Meet the deadlines: You will help ensure that close reporting is completed quickly.

🏅About You

• 3+ years of work experience (including trainee assistant accountant roles) in an audit, at an accounting firm, or in a position as a general accountant at a corporation;
• You have a solid knowledge of the Account Payables/Receivables process;
• You excel at using accounting ERPs and Excel. Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus;
• You have a French degree with a focus in Accounting, Controlling, or Audit;
• You can work strategically and collaboratively with other finance team members (FP&A, Financial Controller, Finance Manager, etc.);
• You speak both French and English fluently.
