The PepsiCo France Marketing team is looking for their future Directeur Marketing Food on permanent contract, starting September 1st 2025.

Marketing Director Food (Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Benenuts, Quaker), Media TCP & Commercialization:

The Marketing Director for Food, Media TCP & Commercialization is a member of the Leadership Team of PepsiCo France and reports to France General Manager (dotted line with Regional Marketing Lead).

Key missions are:

  • Develop & implement Food Strategy 2030 in partnership with the Category marketing teams and the MU sales teams.

  • Build and execute commercial AOPs (Annual Operating Plan), manage adjustments, and make commercial trade-offs to ensure optimal achievement of AOP targets.

  • Represent the MU in all key category forums such as the European meetings, Innovations and Activation Boards, and ensure that the category aligns with the MU’s local strategy and requirements.

  • Define, activate, and secure the implementation of essential brand activation, marketing, and digital marketing functionalities in close collaboration with Europe/Global Marketing teams.

  • Ensure that insights, market data, and consumer data are at the heart of decision-making for growth plans.

  • Develop impactuf Media & Digital campaigns and manage associated budgets (A&M).

  • Oversee the product development processes in close collaboration with the Supply Chain department.

Portfolio & Innovation Strategy

  • Develop and implement the growth strategy for the portfolio specific to the Market (Food Strategy 2030)

  • Work closely with Consumer Insights to stay ahead of consumer trends and ensure marketing activities resonate with target audiences.

  • Drive the innovation pipeline to enhance brand growth and market share.

  • Collaborate with Strategy, Insights, R&D (Research and Development), Commercialization, and E-commerce teams to integrate brand strategy into the overall business strategy and ensure effective deployment.

Brand Management:

  • Act as a brand steward, ensuring all communication, sponsorship, and engagement platforms build brand equity and align with the overall brand strategy.

  • Partner with regional marketing leaders to drive strategy alignment and execution at the local level.

  • Develop and maintain global brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across all consumer-facing assets.

Business Management:

  • Primarily build the AOP revenue algorithm (including NRR - Net Revenue Retention) and investment plans (pricing guidelines per category, innovation, mix, and promotions).

  • Manage the achievement of NR, NRR, profit, and market share objectives by recommending trade-offs and corrective actions when necessary.

  • Ensure a clear performance plan and make course corrections if needed.

  • Execute an effective and efficient plan and budget, optimizing operating expenses (including return on investment through Marketing Mix Modeling, ROI tool engine).

Commercial AOP Business Plan:

  • Develop, prioritize, and execute the full commercial category calendar (brand, promotion, customer, PPA - Purchase price allocation, etc.).

Customer Engagement:

  • Develop a strong category vision to drive future growth across all customers and channels.

  • Support sales by enhancing customer engagement through compelling customer category JBP plans.

Functional Leadership:

  • Chair key commercial meeting forums to drive the commercial program and decision-making.

  • Collaborate productively within the matrix: MU LT, Sales, Region/Global Marketing Teams, Insights, Media & Commercialization.

Functional Capability:

  • Define, activate, and secure the implementation of essential brand activation, marketing, and digital marketing functionalities in close collaboration with Europe.

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead the entire Marketing Food, Media TCP, and Commercialization department (20 people, including 4 direct reports).

  • Clarify team roles and responsibilities through effective communication, sharing information, inspiring, and demonstrating enthusiasm around shared goals and values in a pleasant, inclusive, and diverse environment.

  • Provide continuous support, feedback, and training to all subordinates to help them achieve their individual goals and develop their skills and capabilities.

  • Motivate and engage the team daily, providing them with the best information, strategies, and execution within their category.

  • Recruit and retain talent while enhancing overall performance.


Profil recherché

What makes you a good fit for our future talent pool:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the consumer goods sector across various marketing & sales roles.

  • Master’s degree (Master 2) or equivalent in Marketing

  • Proven experience in brand portfolio management and activation.

  • Fluent in French and English.

  • Strong knowledge of category management, insights, and customer roles.

  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior.

  • Financial expertise in operating P&L accounts.

  • Ability to analyze categories using all available data sources to identify strategic category growth drivers.

  • Experience in leading within a matrix environment and working with cross-functional teams.

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale change projects in product promotion and innovation.

  • Strong commercial knowledge and extensive experience in strategic thinking, brand positioning, advertising, consumer promotions, media planning and buying, and sales.

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop direct reports, cross-functional peers, and agency partners.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Capacity to translate complex data and project plans into clear, actionable presentations and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Strong relationship-building, listening, and influencing skills—actively seeks to understand others’ inputs for better alignment on ideas.

  • International experience is a plus.
