We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Business Development Manager to join its fast growing Business Development team. The Digital Business Development Manager will be responsible for accelerating the distribution of Payplug Global Merchants’ payment services within the Digital vertical, primarily towards leading merchants from the iGaming and online games sectors having major activities in the European region.

The successful candidate will proactively seek prospective merchants and partners, identifying new business opportunities to selling and support deployment of Payplug Global Merchants' solutions. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for boarding new clients and partners with a core focus on generating processing volume, revenue and margin.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with an in-depth understanding and proven track record/experience within payment industry. An experience in iGaming/online video Games sector, could be a plus to succeed in this role.
This role could be based in Paris, Amsterdam or fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Present a thorough understanding of the payment products and services offered by Payplug Global Mechants BU, with the ability to communicate those to prospective merchants;
  • Establish an extensive pipeline of sales opportunities, manage the development of the pipeline, and accurately forecast your identified projects to senior management;
  • Lead full sales cycle with merchants, from prospection to go-live, until ready to hand client to our Account Management team for day-to-day handling;
  • Develop prospective and existing client and partnerships networks for both direct and indirect sale;
  • Grow your sector knowledge to identify new markets and merchant needs;
  • Work closely with internal key stakeholders (international sales, business development, product, and marketing) to deliver optimal payment performance to merchants ;
  • Travel for client’s meeting and industries events to represent Payplug Global Merchants BU;
  • Meet sales targets, generate continuing sales opportunities, and achieve company and individual goals.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated B2B new business development/sales/account management experience ;
  • Expertise and understanding in Payments is mandatory ;
  • Proven track record of complex solution sales, account-planning, proposal creation, c-level negotiations and closing skills ;
  • Proactive and self-motivated, goal orientated with strong time management and organizational skills ;
  • Relationship builder with exceptional written and verbal communication skills ;
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment ;
  • Native or fluent in English.
