We are looking for a Chief Compliance Officer for the FPE branch in Belgium responsible for :

• Providing reasonable assurance to FPE Chief Compliance Officer, FPE Branch management and regulators that adequate policies, procedures, and efficient compliance internal control measures are in place
• Establishing standards and implementing procedures (in line with local regulations and FPE policies & procedures) to ensure that the compliance frameworks throughout the organization are effective and efficient.
• Identifying and documenting non-compliance risks and assisting the businesses in defining adequate control set-up.

This position involves planning, organization, and execution of day-to-day operational compliance activities. In addition, the CCO will help maintain a strong compliance framework for a growing team and business.

The candidate should have experience providing direction and oversight and be able to assist the management in developing effective remediation plans.

The CCO must be able to provide compliance guidance that balances regulatory requirements, risk mitigation and business objectives and must also be able to interact with regulator(s) on Compliance issues.

Around 10 years’ experience in a regulated financial institution with at least a previous position within an internal control function.
