The Role
As General Manager, you are the CEO of Cleaq in all but title. You own the P&L, define the strategy, lead the team, and are accountable for every metric that matters: revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction, retention, and operational excellence.
You will report directly to the group COO and sit on the Executive Committee, with full visibility into group-level strategy, M&A activity, and cross-brand decisions. Your current team includes a Sales Manager and three Account Executives covering the full sales cycle (inbound and outbound to closing), but your mandate is to structure and scale this organization as the business grows.
The group operates with a lean, high-leverage philosophy: smart processes, automation, AI-augmented workflows, strategic outsourcing, and disciplined partner management. You are expected to build Cleaq the same way, not by adding layers of headcount, but by designing systems that scale.
What You Will Own
P&L & Strategy
• Define and execute Cleaq’s overall strategy: positioning, pricing, product offering, and target segments
• Own the full P&L: revenue growth, margins, cash management, and cost optimization
• Build and maintain rigorous forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking through clear, actionable KPIs
Commercial Growth
• Drive the B2B sales engine: optimize acquisition channels, shorten sales cycles, and improve close rates
• Build and execute the international expansion plan starting 2026, identifying priority markets and go-to-market strategies
• Structure, grow, and elevate the sales team as the business scales
• Develop strategic partnerships (IT resellers, HR platforms, SaaS ecosystems, finance partners) to accelerate distribution
Operational Excellence
• Ensure flawless execution across the client lifecycle: onboarding, deployment, support, equipment renewal
• Work hand-in-hand with the group’s Head of Operations to optimize costs, lead times, and service quality
• Continuously arbitrate between service quality, cost efficiency, and profitability as the business scales
Client Retention & Expansion
• Own the full retention playbook: churn reduction, upsell, contract renewals, and client lifetime value
• Build a client experience that makes Cleaq the reference in B2B IT leasing for reliability, simplicity, and service
• Structure a long-term, value-driven approach to client relationships, not transactional but partnership-oriented
Group Integration & Synergies
• Leverage group-level synergies in procurement, operations, data, and tooling to accelerate Cleaq’s growth
• Contribute to group-wide strategic discussions, M&A integration, and cross-brand initiatives as a Executive Committee member
• Harmonize processes where it creates value while preserving Cleaq’s distinct B2B identity and go-to-market
Who You Are
We are looking for a business builder. Someone who combines strategic clarity, commercial instinct, and operational rigor, with the leadership presence to take a brand to the next level.
• Top-tier academic background from a leading business or engineering school (HEC, ESSEC, Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Sciences Po, or international equivalent: LSE, LBS, Bocconi, etc.)
• 7-12 years of professional experience, ideally combining an early chapter in strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or investment banking/PE, followed by P&L ownership, business leadership, or commercial scaling roles in high-growth B2B environments
• A P&L mindset: you think in revenue, margin, and cash. You are fluent in financial planning, forecasting, and performance management, and you make decisions through data, not instinct alone
• Commercial DNA: you understand B2B sales cycles, you can coach a sales team, build pipeline strategy, and close when it matters. You have scaled commercial organizations before
• Fluent in English (required for international expansion) and French. Additional European languages are a strong plus
• Entrepreneurial leadership: you lead from the front, you are comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, and you create a culture of ownership and accountability around you. You want to run a business, not manage a department
