As the lead of our data team, you’ll operate at the intersection of data science, engineering, product, and real-world use cases. Your main responsibilities:

• Leadership & Vision

  • Lead and grow the data team.

  • Define and drive our data strategy.

  • Ensure technical quality, clarity, and business impact.

• Modeling & Machine Learning

  • Build predictive and detection models: leaks, anomalies, usage patterns…

  • Choose the right approach: from heuristics to advanced ML.

  • Work on geospatial datasets (pipes, sensors, sectors…).

• Data Engineering & Architecture

  • Design robust, scalable data pipelines and architecture.

  • Collaborate with backend engineers for seamless integration.

  • Push forward our MLOps foundations and best practices.

• Product Culture & Startup Pace

  • Work hand-in-hand with our PM to turn data into powerful product features.

  • Ship fast, iterate often, and prioritize user feedback.

  • Thrive in a startup environment: high speed, full ownership, close to the field.

What we are looking for ?

• 5+ years of experience in data science and data engineering.

• Proven team leadership or mentoring experience.

• Strong technical stack:

  • Python (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.), SQL.

  • Solid data engineering foundations (pipelines, transformation, automation).

  • Production deployment of models and systems.

• You think product: you care about impact, not just code.

• You’re autonomous, fast-moving, and structured, but pragmatic.

• You love rhythm, iteration, and solving real problems.
