Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

At iBanFirst, we’re passionate about building a platform that delight our customers. We count on our Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to help our development teams deliver new features quickly and safely, while ensuring high availability and excellent performance level of our platform. We’re searching for someone who is able to “think out of the box”, and who enjoys collaborating with our development and operations teams to develop world-class solutions.

🎯 What will you do?

As a SRE at our company, you will:

• Define, collect and analyze Service Level Indicators, and monitor the error budget.
• Work with fellow SREs, incident Manager and software engineers to solve incidents, define and implement post-mortem actions to continuously improve our services.
• Provide solutions to fully automate recurrent tasks (e.g support requests)
• Improve of the observability of our platform, in close collaboration with our development teams.

• You have already worked in highly available production environments
• You have a “production first“ mindset: when an incident occurs, it becomes your #1 priority until it is solved.
• You have successfully automated infrastructure management with Ansible, Terraform or similar tools, and you consider doing things manually as a last resort option
• You are a team player, you don’t hesitate to ask your colleagues for help or to share your knowledge

• You are expert on several components of our technical stack

Technical stack:

• Development : Go, Java, PHP, ReactJS, Python
• Infrastructure: Proxmox VE, Linux Ubuntu LTS, AWS
• Monitoring / observability : Centreon, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana
• Databases : MySQL, PosgreSQL, Redis
• CI/CD : Gitlab, Nexus, Harbor, SonarQube
