🚀 Role Overview
As Gleamer continues its rapid growth, our Chief Innovation Officer and co-founder is seeking exceptional interns to join as CIO Founder Associates. This position offers interns the opportunity to partner closely with our CIO, exploring diverse tech-product initiatives and actively contributing beyond expectations.
Throughout this ~6-month internship, you will engage deeply with various projects, gaining hands-on experience in prototyping products, analyzing markets and opportunities, and evaluating AI-based technologies, with a strong focus on addressing meaningful healthcare challenges. The role ensures significant exposure to executive leadership, providing a comprehensive understanding of the company and deep insights into strategic areas central to healthcare innovation.

💻 Key Responsibilities
As a CIO Founder Associate Intern, your tasks will be varied and impactful, including but not limited to:
Strategy & Innovation: Assisting in defining and executing strategic initiatives, analyzing market trends, and evaluating growth opportunities.
Project Management: Prototyping new product initiatives and implementing them efficiently by autonomously advancing tasks while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Technology Exploration: Researching emerging technologies and recommending their application within Gleamer to optimize our operations and product offerings.
Operational Excellence: Developing internal tools, standards, and documentation to enhance team efficiency and autonomy.
Communication & Culture: Supporting internal and external communications, including contributing to strategic presentations and company-wide updates.

📌 Education & Hard Skills:
Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in engineering, ideally as part of a gap year or final-year internship.
You should have a multidisciplinary mindset, comfortable exploring high-level strategic topics as well as handling practical, hands-on tasks.
Experienced and motivated to work extensively with data.
Proficiency in Python; familiarity with additional programming languages is a plus.
Training and hands-on experience in deep learning, with experience with frameworks, preferably PyTorch.
Familiarity with medical imaging is a plus.
