The Senior Python Developer position at Eska Finance involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable software solutions. The role requires extensive experience in Python programming, a solid understanding of cloud architectures, and proficiency in various web frameworks and libraries. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring code quality and performance, and integrating third-party APIs. The position also demands excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior developers.

We are looking for someone accountable and autonomous, we are open to remote working but can offer office space in Paris.

This position is for a full time employment contract, we’re not looking for contractors or freelancers. You must be based in France.

The salary range is from 55k to 70k€ depending on your experience.

The skills you’ve picked up along the way:

With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, you’re a natural problem solver and have at least 5 years of experience with Python and its libraries/frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).

You also have some experience with front-end languages and frameworks (Typescript, Vue.js).

You are already familiar with CI/CD and Devops practices, especially with Docker and Gitlab.

REST APIs don’t have any secrets for you.

You’re convinced about the use of testing frameworks, and are interested in mentoring more junior developers.

If you already used AI models, this would be a plus.
