Your main mission:

As a Senior Business Developer, you will spearhead the evaluation, structuring, and negotiation of complex transactions, working directly with clients across various industries (real estate, retail, hospitality, and more). Your primary mission is to manage cross-functional teams in producing competitive offers and successfully closing deals. Reporting to Adrien, the Head of Business Development, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to develop offers that align with Driveco's strategic goals and financial criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Commercial Opportunities: Lead the analysis of traffic, financial, technical, and legal aspects to determine feasibility and ensure alignment with our strategic vision.
  • Structuring Deals: Collaborate with Partnership & Account Developers and the Structured Finance Manager to create compelling and competitive offers. Ensure solutions meet client needs while adhering to Driveco’s investment policies and profitability targets.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Serve as the key point of contact for deal negotiations. Engage with clients, address concerns, and showcase our value proposition to finalize contracts.
  • Contractual Management: Oversee the drafting and finalization of contracts in partnership with the legal team, ensuring compliance and clear terms.
  • Project Handover & Reporting: Ensure smooth transitions to the Project Delivery team and prepare business case documentation for internal approvals.

    👩‍💻 Hard Skills
    • You have strong expertise (5-10 yr experience) in deal structuring and transaction management, ideally with experience in real estate, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
    • You thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and a strategic mindset to align deals with broader business objectives.
    • Contract negotiation (EPC, O&M, Land Lease) and technical understanding required.
    • Fluid, clear and transparent communication – Is fluent in both oral and written English.
    • Project financing and modeling expertise would be a plus.
