Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join our team. Working closely with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and our part-time HR/Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, reporting, and HR administration. This role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on execution across finance, HR, and administrative functions.

The position is based in Paris.

Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee monthly financial reporting, including cost tracking and cash flow monitoring

  • Help with preparation and presentation of financial updates for investors

  • Manage budget planning, execution, and monitoring

  • Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic decision-making

Revenue Operations

  • Oversee client billing processes

  • Manage accounts receivable and collections

  • Monitor revenue recognition and reporting

HR Administration

  • Oversee payroll management

  • Handle employment contracts and HR documentation

  • Coordinate with external HR partners

  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes

Finance Administration

  • Manage relationships with accounting firms in France and the US

  • Coordinate banking relationships and optimize cash management across multiple bank accounts

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements

Profil recherché

  • 4-5 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in fast-growing technology companies

  • Strong background in FP&A and financial operations

  • Experience with HR administration and payroll management

  • Proven track record in managing relationships with external partners (accounting firms, banks, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams

  • Strong communication skills in both English and French

  • Background in SaaS or technology companies preferred

  • Outstanding communication skills, high energy and deep empathy

  • Self-starter mentality with ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders

  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus


Déroulement des entretiens

  • 30 min initial screening call with the Chief of Staff: discussion of background and experience

  • 30 min deep dive interview with the CEO: detailed discussion of past experiences and technical skills

  • 1h case study with the Chief of Staff and CEO: practical assessment of financial analysis and problem-solving abilities
