Context

DiGEiZ’s Footfall data offers endless business applications (e.g. merchandising mix, audience segmentation, drive-to-store strategies, media campaign analysis). With 15 shopping malls deployed and +25 more to come across all Europe in the next 2 years, you will contribute as a key member of our fast-paced team in the testing of data

Mission

Within the team, you will be responsible for implementing, improving and scaling our web backend, from the reception to the database backend API. You should be fluent in python web development from prototyping (“fake it before make it”) to production through continuous testing, maintenance, and performance measure. Your motto is close to “Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication” :

• Develop REST API using Python Flask

• Collaborate with multiple teams (infra, data generation C++, data quality, frontend) to ensure quality and timely delivery of products

You will be directly working with the lead of the backend team.

Experience

We seek candidates with advanced python programming skills (Django, Flask, FastAPI, Bottle) and an appetance for algorithmics.

• Graduated from a top engineering school or university

• Previous experience at a python development position

Skills

• Advanced expertise in Python, well-documented code and unit test (we have 100% code coverage)

• Experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI or Bottle

• Experience in implementing REST API services

• Experience with a relational database : PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite

• Bonus : experience with NoSQL(aggregation, indexing, …)

• Bonus : experience with messaging softwares (rabbitMQ, redis, …)
