As E-Category in Basketball commercialization team, you will be responsible for the definition & distribution of Decathlon commercial offer via online channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1/ DEFINE AND ANIMATE THE BEST PRODUCT OFFER FOR MY SPORT 

  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with sports, digital commerce strategies and decathlon project.

  • Co-build the business plan. 

  • Optimize product assortments. Define the digital range offer in collaboration with marketplace teams.

  • Ensuring that my category offering meets decathlon's sustainability challenges.

  • Co-Build the best Europe product catalog with offline team support and other brands.

  • Define and animate range review and product trainings. Monitor customer reviews.

  • Communicate offering catalog to countries through trade show.

2/ MAKE VISIBLE THE CATEGORY OFFERING IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES

  • Determine the most effective ways to showcase products within each category, including product placement, imagery, and descriptions. 

  • Create tree-structure in collaboration with local teams, digital product managers, SEO and UX experts

  • Give guidelines to optimize product listings and product pages for search engine visibility 

  • Own the product page process and efficiency : content creation, taxonomy, comparator management.

  • Work closely with teams such as commercialization, marketing, digital product teams, to execute category strategies effectively. Collaborate on initiatives such as new product launches, website enhancements, and promotional events to drive overall business growth.

3/ MANAGE AND MONITOR THE WORLDWIDE DIGITAL PERFORMANCE OF MY SPORT(S)

  • Monitor inventory levels and product performance.

  • Monitor pricing trends and competitor digital activities to give recommendations on price adjustment.

  • Build and provide product promotion plans for digital commerce.

  • Use digital analytics tools and reporting systems to track worldwide performance metrics (sales, conversion rates, traffic, and customer engagement). Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to e-commerce, online retailing, and category management.


Profil recherché

Background :

  • Business degree (Master/MBA)

  • At least one successful ecommerce experience

Technical skills

  • Products management (offer selection or purchasing)

  • Product information & treeview management

  • Economical performances analysis

  • Traffic performance and visitor activity & insights - Google analytics,  AT internet/ Piano,...

  • Knowledge of external tools to analyze offer is a plus (ex : Edited,...)

Soft skills : 

  • Has a good knowledge of sport ecommerce. Knowledge of basketball sports is a plus.

  • Can switch from acting for daily business to building future strategy (and vice versa)

  • Has Leadership skills: able to drive international teams in passing the sense, federating the team in a network mode. Has the ability to collaborate across functional links (and non hierarchical).

  • Has Strong aptitude for problem-solving, decision making through data analysis and troubleshooting issues with the ability to organize and prioritize work

You will integrate an English spoken work environment. Good level of spoken and written English is required for this position.
