Your Mission

At BlaBlaCar, we want to make sure we provide world-class customer support and exceed members expectations. This is the job of the Care team. We are looking for a confirmed Front-End Web Engineer to join the squad, where you will focus on building the backoffice powering the daily work of hundreds of customer relation agents.

Your role will be to contribute as part of a full stack team to delivering the most efficient tooling for a 360 view of our members across all our supplies (carpool, train, buses).

Our team is diverse and is composed of junior, confirmed and senior developers. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our backend developments.

You will also be part of the transversal SPA chapter composed of the 13 frontend web engineers dedicated to BlaBlaCar's web application.

Your Responsibilities

• Building from scratch the new backoffice in React and TypeScript using REST APIs built by the team

• Participating in the whole application lifecycle, meaning: early meetings, design, development, test strategy, deployment to production, observability, and support

• Participating in the definition of the projects with the product team to find the most relevant solutions for our customer relation agents

• Interacting with people with different roles and backgrounds, and sharing your technical expertise with a mix of technical, product, and business experts

Your qualifications

• Proficiency with TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3

• Good knowledge of React

• You have hands-on experience with Git, Docker and Kubernetes

• You have a good sense of User Experience and are looking to build the most efficient interface

• You have good communication skills, you’re humble and you are a team player

• Fluency in spoken and written English
