The IT Transformation Senior Project Manager is part of the IT Program and Performance Management (PMO and Performance) office that leads project execution and establishes delivery standards, processes, tools and reporting for the IT Transformation.

The Senior IT Project Manager will provide project management support for specific process-related initiatives and facilitate partnerships between initiative owners. The role will help initiative owners apply the Transformation Methodology (including developing rigorous, locked-in project milestones and schedules), continually assess and augment resource/capacity needs, track results of the initiative, to assess potential risks and identify mitigation measures, to push progress critical steps and support the initiative in applying a unified set of tools and best practices.

In his daily duties and responsibilities, the IT Senior Transformation Project Manager will 

• Lead and manage transformational initiatives within the IT department

• Develop and execute project plans, objectives, and timelines.

• Allocate and manage resources effectively.

• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to milestones

• Prepare regular management reports to initiative owners and executivelevel audiences

• Identify and manage project risks and issues.

• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders

• Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.

• Implement project management methodologies and best practices (WaysOfWorking).

• Create & animate communities of practices

• Track project budgets and financials.

• Conduct project evaluations and reporting on outcomes.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation.

• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

• Lead change management efforts within the transformation.

• Build and monitor the upskilling program

• Drive organisational transformation and achieve strategic objective

• Track key activities that ensure initiative owners design & deliver the right outcomes for initiatives on behalf of leadership

• Conduct regular meetings with initiative owners and project managers

• Build and lead the IT communications strategy to align, create a sense of ownership and accelerate transformational change

• Organize and facilitate sharing events such as hackathons, mega demos, etc

Key skills of a Transformation and Project Manager include:

• A degree in business administration, business informatics, engineering or comparable studies with several years of professional experience.
