Beamy is on the verge of a transformative leap, gearing up for our Series B funding. In this exciting phase of rapid expansion, we are seeking a visionary First Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. This role is not just about providing legal advice; it's about being a game-changer in how we navigate the complexities of the tech industry. You will be at the heart of enhancing our sales process and laying the legal foundational stones for Beamy's future.

You will have the unparalleled opportunity to build our Business Legal Process from the ground up. Your expertise will be pivotal in streamlining our operations, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding our innovative edge. Working closely with our Corporate and Sales Teams, you will play a critical role in Beamy's growth strategy, helping to shape the legal landscape in which we operate.

MISSIONS

Legal Expertise in Commercial Transactions: Play an indispensable role in supporting our sales teams by crafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of agreements and contracts with diverse stakeholders. Your legal acumen will unlock new business opportunities and safeguard our interests.

Strategic Relationship Management: Assume leadership in managing relationships with external legal advisors and conduct negotiations with third parties including partners and regulators. Your strategic oversight will streamline operations and mitigate risks.

Risk Management and Compliance: Proactively identify, evaluate, and advise on legal and regulatory risks affecting the business, particularly in commercial and employment law domains. Your guidance will ensure informed business decisions and compliance with legal standards.

Corporate Governance: Establish and maintain internal governance policies, ensuring consistent adherence across the organization. Your efforts will fortify our corporate integrity and operational efficiency.

Executive Advisory: Provide timely and accurate legal advice to the company's executive team on a broad range of issues including investor relations, corporate finance, global expansion, and other critical legal matters. Your counsel will shape strategic decisions and future directions.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with various departments to foster a deeper understanding of legal processes and enhance the legal acumen within the company. Your collaboration will empower teams with the knowledge to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

You have at least 6 years of professional legal experience, ideally with a background in both a legal firm and a technology company.

You have a proven experience in working alongside Sales Teams to facilitate deal closures.

You have a strong expertise in Information Technology, Intellectual Property, and GDPR.

You have a native-level proficiency in French and fluency in English.
