About the job:

Within the Product Department, you have the massive opportunity to bring Back Market Trade-In program (BuyBack) to the next level by rethinking the way customers sell their devices through our website and mobile apps. You will also have the chance to help our refurbishers with buying back, repairing, and reselling devices on our platform.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will handle a team of +12 people and a scope of 3 different user journeys:

- Customers who sell their devices

- Refurbishers who buy these devices

- Back Market agents who support both, customers and refurbishers

Your responsibility will be to expand our consumer base and revenue, with a US focus, by encouraging customers to actively participate in Back Market’s ecosystem (buy, sell, repair).

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • As the point of contact for all stakeholders, you will communicate and clarify the short, medium, and long-term priorities while transforming BackMarket's vision and OKRs into a high-impact roadmap.
  • As the Engineering Manager's daily partner, you will adjust priorities if needed. Your communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers will ensure that our quality standards and commitments are met. 
  • You will be in charge of running discovery pieces as well as creating, maintaining and delivering features, in collaboration with business stakeholders, designers and engineers.
  • You will liaise with all Backmarket counterparts (Quality teams, Service teams, Supply teams, designer, researchers, etc.) and different squads to ensure that your product fits perfectly into the Back Market experience.
  • You will communicate on the roadmap and feature risks and impacts, andl be accountable for forecasting potential problems and dependencies.
  • YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • You have a strong experience (>6 years) as a PM in an Agile environment on customer facing products, or in the marketplace sector. Bonus point if you have been evolving in a scale up environment.
  • You are perfectly fluent in english.
  • You have a strong business sense and like revenue-driven products
  • You are a brilliant communicator, your peers define you as a facilitator.
  • You have no problem with navigating ambiguous situations and have a profound problem solver attitude using data and the user at the center of all your thoughts
  • You have a strategic but simple vision of your product. For you, the product must amplify the value of business expectations.
  • You have strong analytics skills. Monitoring our key performance indicators / being able to define targeted increments is part of your daily life.
  • You have a keen interest in web technologies and can easily discuss technical topics with the engineering team. 
  • You have a strong UX sensibility.
