We’re looking for an amazing Software Engineer intern to help us code exciting new features for Rayvolve, an AI-Powered software detecting pathologies on X-Rays for hospitals and clinics all over the world. You will be able to choose which area interests you the most on a wide variety of topics, from algorithmic problems to performance improvements, testing of our Python-based Software, and medical imaging challenges.

AZmed’s first product, Rayvolve, an AI-based abnormality detection software, has recently been CE-marked, and you will have hands-on experience in developing applications that integrate state-of-the-art algorithms on the first French deep learning software in radiology

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software components with high-quality, well-documented code.

• Help transition from a MongoDB-based workflow to an event-based one (RabbitMQ)

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.

• Ensure the reliability and performance of our Serverless API

• Keep up-to-date with new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development

Qualifications

• Experience with Python (other languages such as C, C++ or Go will be considered)

• Understanding database relationships

• Strong communication skills & collaborative mindset

• Being proactive in proposing new features or technologies

• Want to improve healthcare and have a positive impact

Bonus point

• Previous experience in medical devices

• Knowledgeable in networking challenges
