As our Quality Engineer, you have the important mission ensuring our delicious plant-based bacon arrives in it’s very best shape to people’s dishes! You will deal with a large scope of missions and have the great opportunity to build the quality & regulatory culture at La Vie, together with Aude (Quality & Regulatory manager)! Exciting, right?🤩

Let dig into your role:

• Implementation and management of quality system and internal training
• Definition of quality standards for finished products and semi-finished goods (production, packaging, organoleptic, food safety) + implementation of control processes with Co-Manufacturers & Co-Packers
• Definition of quality standards for ingredients and semi-finished products + implementation control process
• Management of La Vie monitoring plan
• Management of the quality documentation related to our finish-goods, semi-finished goods and ingredients (e.g. technical data sheets, certificates, etc.)
• Ensure regulatory compliance of our products and processes, follow up on regulatory legislation
• Be the quality support for products listing with our customers
• Perform audits of suppliers, Co-Manufacturer, Co-Packers, logistics partners. Support audits initiated by customers.
• Support innovation and improvement projects in order to define quality standards and control processes
• Work in close collaboration with our Co-Manufacturers to support their quality teams into implementation of La Vie specific requirements (be prepared for frequent travels to Vendée : once a week)
• Handle clients/customers complaints + follow-up actions plan with Co-Manufacturers

• 3-5 years in food industry as quality engineer or coordinator, with a first practical experience in production area (=MUST)
• Knowledge of quality & food safety standards (IFS, ISO 22 000, HACCP) and European regulatory frame for food products
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, agility skills. You are what they call a “multitasker”
• You are curious to deepdive into the world of plantbased food!🌱
• A US export experience would for sure increase your chances with us
• You are happy to travel weekly to our atelier in Vendée 🏭 (aprox 2 days/Week)
• You are Fluent in French & English

You will have a first video call with HR, a second interview with your future manager Aude (Quality & Regulatory manager) and a business case to present to Aude & Matthias (COO)
