The Philips BReakthrough Innovation TEams (BRITE) are the embodiment of Philips’ new approach to driving breakthrough innovation. The BRITE approach accelerates innovation by being the organizational sandbox to nurture nascent projects from the early innovation stage to the full ability to scale. 

The BRITE Program Leads, reporting directly to Research, will be the key leaders for individual BRITE programs, with full end-to-end responsibility, as role models with intrapreneurial characteristics of agility, creativity, speed, and drive (to name a few). 

Your role:

  • You will be responsible for transforming the Product Management concepts into product requirements. You will engineer system requirements from various inputs, contribute to prototype delivery and to the product development following the Quality Management Processes. Once the product is released, you will be highly instrumental in transferring the product knowledge to the product management and professional services teams. 

  • You will be instrumental in designing an innovative clinical data platform providing real-time analytics. Your main scope may include the design of a cloud analytics platform, the definition of the data storage and interfaces and the design of the user facing web applications. 

  • You will need to interact with architecture, software development, verification teams, and others to ensure that the products meet our quality, performance, and scalability expectations in a time constrained environment. Along with Product Managers and Professional Services, you may interact with customers to turn their requirements into product design/product vision.


Preferred experience

Experience and skills 

  • Strong ability to design user-focused, complex software products 

  • Capacity to aggregate needs and constraints from multiple stakeholders into consistent solutions 

  • Problem solving, and an in-depth understanding of the process of turning complex technologies into easy-to-use and reliable products 

  • Ability to successfully establish and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders including R&D team members, Product Managers, Project Managers, IT resources, Sales, and Support 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong interpersonal, communications, presentation, and negotiation skills 

  • Project Management skills: Ability to build, execute and report on a multi-disciplinary plan 

  • Knowledge in SaaS and/or Cloud-deployment products is a plus 

Minimum Education and Experience 

  • Fluent in English is a must 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field required 

  • 7+ years of experience in product development or equivalent preferably in the healthcare or software development industry 

  • Experience with cloud native applications is a plus 

  • Certification in Systems Engineering, Requirement Engineering, System Modeling or equivalent is a plus
