Job description

The Philips BReakthrough Innovation TEams (BRITE) are the embodiment of Philips’ new approach to driving breakthrough innovation. The BRITE approach accelerates innovation by being the organizational sandbox to nurture nascent projects from the early innovation stage to the full ability to scale. 

The BRITE Program Leads, reporting directly to Research, will be the key leaders for individual BRITE programs, with full end-to-end responsibility, as role models with intrapreneurial characteristics of agility, creativity, speed, and drive (to name a few). 

Your role:

  • You will be responsible for the systems verification activities of the CI&I BRITE solution and will work in an international team.  

  • You will design Verification Strategy and Protocols to cover System Requirements for end-to-end Functional and non-functional (performance) tests for an innovative clinical data platform providing real-time analytics. 

  • Lead and participate to the product verification activities, including the verification strategy, planning and report 

  • Define and execute the manual and automated verification protocols 

  • Ensure the product functions, quality and performances comply to the expectations 

  • Help to define and implement a test automation framework and other verification tools (like simulators) 

  • Set-up and maintain test and demo environment 

  • Review the product requirements, and ensure their coverage through comprehensive traceability 

  • Participate to the investigation, resolution and verification of product defects and other customer feedbacks


Preferred experience

Experience and skills 

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field required 

  • At least 3 years of experience in systems verification in a research and development team 

  • Working experience of software verification activities (strategy, protocol development, execution…) 

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken 

  • Rigor, customer focus, accurate, thorough, quality driven, tech savvy 

  • Test automation: UI test automation (e.g. Selenium) or performance test automation 

  • Able to set up and maintain virtualized environment (Azure, AWS,…) 

  • Experience with cloud native applications is a plus 

  • ISTQB certified would be a plus.
