What we are looking for

Yubo helps Gen Z engage with the world and learn about themselves through safe, engaging and meaningful online social interactions. Inspired by the best of offline socialization and the possibilities of digital life, Yubo’s vision is to fix online social interactions for the generation of hyper connected digital natives who are proven to be lonelier and more isolated than any other age group.

Unlike traditional social networks, Yubo prioritizes people over content, real-time interactions over likes, and real connections over followers.

Your challenges as Social Media Manager

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building online communities and who will be in charge of growing our brand awareness through engaging and brand-appropriate content.

Under the Social and Influence Lead, your challenges will include (not limited to) :

  • In charge of the strategy and editorial calendar for the main social platforms (IG/TW/TikTok/Snap) and posting of the social content
  • Engage with our fans and social communities through meaningful content and interactions to increase engagement and build a strong, passionate community
  • Work closely with the Creative team for content production
  • Ability to create by yourself organic and native TikTok content (without the help of the creative team)
  • Reporting on performance and growth of all social channels on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Be reactive to trends and able to propose always-on social content
  • Keeping up-to-date with trends and able to propose always-on social content/brand presence on existing and emerging social media platforms

Profil recherché

You have to apply if :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area
  • Bilingual English speaker
  • A 1st work experience as a social media manager/community manager role, preferably for apps, gaming, or consumer-oriented companies
  • You love to spend time on TikTok, Instagram, Snap, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • At ease with creating content and very familiar with the creative features of most Social media platforms
  • Passion for bringing online communities together and engaging with them
  • Strong knowledge regarding Gen Z culture, interests & trends within the market
  • Creative thinker that brings innovative ideas to better reach our audience
  • Very organized, comfortable with running multiple overlapping projects
  • A good fit with Yubo’s key values (results-oriented, team player, accountability, transparency)
  • Strong skills in copywriting and attention to detail

  • a 60-min video call with Guillaume MICHEL, our Social and Influence Lead, to discuss your past experiences, career expectations & motivations
  • a fully remote exercise to evaluate your abilities to imagine social content using current trends and how to interact with our social communities
  • a 60-min video-call with Marie Collin, Community Lead and Géraldine Cohen, Head of Brand Marketing
  • a 45-min video call with Marc-Antoine Durand, COO, and Sacha Lazimi, CEO
