The mission
Reporting directly to the General Manager, here is the mission that awaits you as Head of Sales at Wooclap:

TEAM MANAGEMENT (Managing and coaching)

  • Drive the strategy for hiring, onboarding, training and retaining AE’s and coach them on best practices along with our sales leads.
  • Apply and adapt if need be our career path for Sales team members.
  • Be a steward leader for your team by fostering a successful and positive team environment of transparency, and proactive communication, in line with Wooclap’s values.

TEAM MANAGEMENT (Operations & Process)

  • Set quarterly and annual sales targets in line with Wooclap’s overall strategy
  • Take ownership on defining, following and reporting on key Sales KPIs and metrics
  • Forecast and own the Sales team budget, with the support of our Head of Finance
  • Implement best practices and programs that will enable the team to achieve and surpass their goals.
  • Actively manage, monitor and continually improve and scale the overall sales process along with our Business Operations Manager to ensure a successful productivity ramp to exceed revenue goals

BUSINESS STRATEGY, GO-TO-MARKET AND COLLABORATION

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, Product, Marketing and CX teams and leads, to build tactics to generate strong pipelines of opportunities. For instance, cracking our Product Led Growth motion (free -> self-service customer -> Enterprise customer, or referrals among our current customers.)
  • Set a strategic sales roadmap across channels (outbound, partnerships, resellers, fairs) in collaboration with our Marketing and CX teams to feed the pipeline.
  • Lead, in collaboration with marketing, sales and CX teams, our newest go-to-market strategy in the business segment (training centers) in France,
  • Turn our International Expansion into a predictable revenue stream, in collaboration with our Head of Expansion
  • Be the voice of the prospects, the eyes on the ground and deliver strategic insights and feedback to improve our offerings especially on the aspects of localization and specific market needs

In other words, we’re looking for someone who is proficient in the sales environment and KPIs so we can have productive business and strategy conversations and be driven by objective data and numbers. But at the same time, we want to have someone who can build meaningful, genuine relationships with people and customers/prospects from a wide range of backgrounds and will infuse this to the entire team.

Hence, this job is for you if:

  • You’re a sales expert, genuinely collaborative and driven and excited by high performance.

  • You are excited about and experienced in finding tactics for pipeline generation

  • You have experience in long sales cycles, complex deals.

  • You are excited about and driven by bringing long-term value to our current and potential customers and not about “hard selling” in the short-term.

  • You have 6+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS company with progressive leadership and management in sales

  • You’re a continuous learner: you’re taking feedback as a gift and look for ways to continuousely improve

  • You are known for your superior listening and empathy skills and people like working with you

  • You’re a team player at heart and you’re recognized for your collaborative attitude

  • Entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines. You thrive to get things done, with a strong attention to detail

  • You can work both in French and English (we’re an English-first company)

  • If you have a working knowledge of the EdTech industry and Product-led Growth strategies, it’s really a strong plus
