⌖ The Mission

Join our vibrant and dynamic team at Wakam as a Legal Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the business during the partner lifecycle phase and remediation efforts. You'll be advising partners on necessary actions, drafting correspondence, and contract amendments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, draft, review, and validate contracts in both French and English, including letters of intent, framework agreements, partnership agreements, and management delegation agreements.
  • Contribute to legal compliance and continuous improvement by regularly updating standard contracts, maintaining the contract management tool, and implementing contract amendments in response to legal changes or remediation actions with existing partners.
  • Assess the feasibility of partnerships in light of legal context and insurance regulations.
  • Provide legal validation for various contracts, including service agreements, general terms and conditions, specific terms, and policies.
  • Prepare legal notes on specific legal issues related to French and European regulations, guarantee schemes, distribution schemes, etc.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory monitoring to analyze and anticipate legal developments that may affect the products and insurance contracts we design.
  • Provide legal responses to internal team inquiries, including product managers, business developers, partnership project managers, and auditors.


  • Bachelor's degree (Bac +5) in Insurance Law, Business Law, or a similar field.
  • Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in Insurance Law, including internships or apprenticeships.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT tools.
  • Ability to adapt to an agile and dynamic work environment.
  • Balance business objectives with legal security by proactively seeking solutions in partner negotiations.
  • Versatility and comfort with multitasking, as well as openness to frequent changes.
  • Proactive and attentive to the needs of business partners.
